UP!–PODCAST Paradise :)

gallery.yopriceville.com-microphoneThe first time I became aware of the term “podcast” was over 10 years ago. When I was immersed in the online “Harry Potter” fandom, I heard of the “Mugglecast” podcast. At that time, for whatever reason, I couldn’t or simply didn’t know how to access it. It was launched through Mugglenet, whose team was attending and hosting all kinds of events pre-Deathly Hallows, and broadcasting Live. I didn’t get to hear any of it, and not until JUST NOW, when I googled it for this post, did I know they’re still doing it! 😎

Anyway, it was not until I became active on Twitter a few years ago, and wove my way into its wonderful online community of KidLit, did “podcast” come up again. Hildie + The Corner Bookstore “Spells” FUN!

Hildie COVEROK, with a title like this and such stunning artwork, much like the Imperius Curse (though not sinister!), you simply CAN’T RESIST picking up this book! Was I excited to go? You betcha! Did I have a great time? YOU BETCHA! 😀 In fact, I was Continue reading

UP!–The 2015 PRINCETON BOOK FESTIVAL!

PROGRAM headerI honestly don’t think I can adequately express just how beside myself I was when I first got a gander at the stellar line-up of KidLit “stars” who’d be attending the Princeton Book Festival this year. Seriously—Cloud 9 became my footstool. In fact, it still feels a bit cushiony under my feet 😀 Continue reading
