When it comes to the legalities or financial aspects of being an author and illustrator, my eyes glaze over. This is one of the biggest reasons I believe being represented by a literary agent or art rep is so important. It’s just as difficult, if not more so, to get representation, but it’s something to consider.

I have basic knowledge when it comes to things like copyright, plagiarism and things of that nature, so I am far from an expert in this aspect. When I happen across valuable information, I will do my best to share it here.
