OK, how on earth can another year have gone by? I know I’ve been steadily busy, not just with the pandemic books I published, but life in general. I’m betting you can likely say the same thing πππ
If you follow this blog, you’re likely familiar with International Dot Day. Well, it just rolled around again today!
Last year was the first time I was able to post my Dot as a “Celebri-dot” and it was one of those “dreams” fulfilled π I couldn’t have been happier about it. But what is EXTRA special about this year is it’s the first year I got to celebrate with my 4-year-old granddaughter, Charlotte π₯°
It being the first go, I learned it would’ve been better to pre-make the components because we ran out of time to use them all! But we had fun anyway and got to CREATE! She thoroughly enjoyed seeing the many Dots made by children everywhere, and videos people posted, but got too impatient to get creating for us to read The Dot . That’s OK. There are plenty of reading opportunities for that ππππ Meanwhile, I’m sharing our crafty Dots with you here:
And here is this year’s Celebri-Dot creation which, for obvious reasons, stars my Pippin Pals:
I’m building up quite the succession of Dots, all fun to do. It’s no secret how much I love celebrating this day and the people who started it all: Terry Shay, Peter Reynolds and Paul Reynolds. Creativity “heroes” all π€©π€©π€© I will always be proud and sentimental about the interviews I got to do with them, all of which you can see through these links along with my previous Dots:
2014 … Terry Shay … 2015 … 2016 … 2017 … 2018 with Peter and Paul …. 2019 … 2020 … and THIS year, now appearing on the official Celebri-dots site. GLEEful!
Happy Dot Day, everyoneβa day that can be celebrated EVERY day of the year! Get creative, make your mark and MAKE A DOT! ππ₯°ππ€πππππ¨
Love your dot, Donna! Woohoo!

Thanks, Lauri π Mine too! And just now, because I realized I didn’t express it properly, I changed “with” to “on”…that’s what I meant! lol
