It’s true that time really does fly when you’re having fun…or is that “when you get old”? π Either way, I really can’t believe two years have gone by since I launched Writer Side UP! and Creativity Cookbook, and what’s the real fun of it is that you are travelling along with me π
I figured I’m not going to reiterate what I said last year, but the sentiments are pretty much the same. What I DO want to do is have a little giveaway to celebrate π
I’m going to give away 3 sets of bookmarks since they are the items I can mail overseas and don’t have to exclude anyone π
And along with that, for those in the continental U.S., seeing as I’m pretty sure most of my followers are writers, I’m offering up a copy of Jill Elizabeth Nelson‘s Rivet Your Readers with Deep Point of View π All you have to do is leave a comment (by 11:59pm, Sept.14) stating what it is you enjoy about the blogosphere, in general. And if you’re not a writer and aren’t interested in the book, please type “(NW)” (which = Not a Writer) in your comment so I don’t include you for that prize. Also, PLEASE, if for some reason you’re having trouble leaving a comment, I’d really appreciate you contact me and let me know what the problem is because I’d like to rectify it. I’ll be sure to include you in the random drawing through that route, too!
So thank you, everyone, for choosing to spend time here on my little blog. I appreciate it so very much and am sincerely happy you’re here π
Happy Blogversary, Donna! π
Time flies when you are having fun! Cheers, and to many more years of writing and having fun! π

Congrats!! So many things I enjoy about being a writer and part of the blogosphere. Number one, I’ve met so many terrific people who share their writing challenges and triumphs and tips of the trade. Two, I’ve learned through those tips and also been inspired. Three, I love sharing my snippets of life and writing (fiction and non) and get inspired further by the wonderful support of others who blog. Four, I feel connected to SO MANY who live throughout our amazing planet.

Pam, thanks so much! I didn’t comment within the blog post about what I like about the blogosphere, figuring I’d do it in the comments. You, my dear, couldn’t have voiced it better. Ditto! π

It’s just over three years for me now. But you were blogging prior to these, weren’t you? I thought I knew you before their launch.

I was active on Twitter at least 1-1 1/2 years before I launched so you got that right π

Happy Blogaversary! I get your blog posts in my inbox, so I saw the 2 year anniversary a couple of days ago. I made sure to pop over and leave a comment, even if I’m a bit late. π It’s Tina from Amanda’s Books and More. Have a great week!

AW, I missed the deadline. These anniversaries fly around fast. It seems only yesterday I was asking you, again, when you were going to go “live.” You were in a way, given I could bug you through this site. Now, it’s been two years, and a few days. Congratulations my friend. I hope you had a wonderful two years and are ready for two more.

Hi, Sue π Thank you SO much! For whatever reason, you have been a cheerleader for me and my little blog. You are a mainstay in the KidLit blogosphere, so your support is quite a pat on the and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you and your friendship.
The giveaway (I think you have bookmarks already anyway, right? π ) is over and you still took the time to comment, so that just shows how terrific you are π

I do have a set of your terrific bookmarks! Giveaways I rarely win, so being late doesn’t really change my odds of winning. π
I couldn’t pass on your anniversary (it is probably closer to three years, if you count the time since you actually began). Anniversaries are big. I celebrate mine each year, too. I had to celebrate yours!!
I love your voice and your posts have been great. I love your opinion on things and how committed you are to kidlit. Congrats ono two! Now let’s make it three, four, five, ten years. (phew! That’s a long time, enjoy your journey). β€

I missed this but still congratulations on two years, it’s been great spending time with you and reading your words. There is so much to enjoy about the blogosphere, meeting new people, gaining different perspectives, the book recommendations and improving myself as well. It’s the best way to spend time outside of a book.

I view my log as a work in progress still but that’s because I’m picky. I love sharing thoughts and ideas and meeting new people, especially if one day it could lead to an actual real meeting.

We get to know people so well on the blog, Skype and such is the next step and then after that it’s just the logical thing to do. It’s always great to see a new city or country in the meantime too.
