What site is this? No link, kiddo. Where can I find what I will appreciate (besides you, I mean)? 🙂

lol, Sue! It’s only the video. No link to anything 🙂 Of course, if you’re not familiar with KidLit TV or their facebook page, here are the links to those!

Of course I am familiar with KidLit TV — they stole my name!! Nah, I like their site, just so used to seeing links, not videos, it threw me. You and your experimenting with new technology. How can anyone keep up with you?! 😆 3>

OOPS!! That new technology got me again. I meant ❤

It was the technology that got you, huh? lol And I don’t experiment all that often. I’m actually antiquated in comparison to most! lol

Who’s LeVar? Should I know? He was hilarious!

Oh, my Norah–I wasn’t thinking you might not know! I’m not sure what/who is or isn’t International lol LeVar Burton is VERY well known here in the U.S. He became famous back in the 70s with a groundbreaking TV series called “Roots,” then went on to do many other things, one of which included hosting a PBS (Public Broadcasting) show called “Reading Rainbow.” Just love him. He’s the actor in this video! 😀

Thank you for that. I watched “Roots”. Loved it. Powerful series. Which character did LeVar play?
I did check out his Reading Rainbow site. Need to do a little more exploring though.
Thanks for the education. Have a great weekend. 🙂

LeVar played Kunta Kinte 🙂 And I hope you have a great weekend, too, my dear 🙂 The first half of mine was wonderful. I was in Princeton at our annual NJ SCBWI Craft Day. Lots of KidLit fun all day! 😀

At what age? The young one, I guess.
Your SCBWI craft day sounds fun! I’m envious! 🙂

That video is so me. 😉 The sad thing is, I’m not exaggerating (except for the walking-into-a-pillar thing. That only happened once, and I’ve learned my lesson – you always look just over the top of the book cover with your peripheral vision. 🙂 ).

OK, Erik, now I’m going to think of you every time I see that scene (and I’ve watched this quite a few times ’cause I love it so much 😉 ). What’s even sadder is that I’ve walked into walls, pillars and a few other things, only I wish I had the excuse that it was due to reading! For me it’s just being, well–ME! lol

LeVar Burton, what a guy…he was great in Community as well. I feel his pain with all of those lol, the only one he missed out was people wanting to talk to you in the pub…I hate that the most, although food on the pages comes pretty close.

Hey, Ste J! I hope you’re well 🙂 I’m not familiar with Community. Is it a Brit-based show? (And I love this video so much, I’ve watched it quite a few times. In fact, I’m going to watch it again NOW! lol

Haha, it is addicting! Community is a US show about a group of college students, its a nice show to chill with.
